How to Sponsor Rivers Alive or a Local Cleanup Event

Statewide Sponsors
To become a state sponsor, your corporation must be willing to make a donation at one of the following levels - Ocean ($10,000), Lake ($5,000), River ($3,000)  or Creek ($500).  The state level contributions are used primarily for producing Rivers Alive T-shirts and banners - in 2006, 11 corporations provided over $55,000 in donations earmarked for 15,000 Rivers Alive T-shirts and 5,000 patches.  This funding will also be used for river cleanup advertisement, publicity, and educational materials.  To obtain more information on becoming a state sponsor, please contact Lynn Cobb at 404-679-4910. Or email donations@riversalive.com

Local Sponsors
Sponsors can also get involved at the local level.  Local organizers of river cleanup events need materials to help coordinate successful cleanups.  Local organizers are looking for products such as trash bags, insect repellent, sunscreen lotion, disposable cameras, rubber gloves, refreshments, snacks, food (hotdogs, hamburgers, etc.), and much more.  If you would like to contribute, contact the local event of your choice listed at our maps page.

Attention Corporate Sponsors -
P²AD has established a Partnership Program to foster environmental leadership and recognize superior environmental performance. Your participation in Rivers Alive makes you eligible for this program.  P²AD Partnership is free and open to any business or organization that operates in Georgia. There are four Partnership levels to fit the changing goals and efforts of your business or organization.
